Sutton Coldfield Musical Theatre Present : The Band

The Band is about a group of teenage girls in the 1990s who share an intense love for a boy band, a bond that shapes their friendship. A sudden tragedy tears their group apart and changes the course of their lives. Twenty-five years later, now adults with very different futures than they imagined, they reunite and decide to see their beloved band in concert once more. The reunion forces them to confront old wounds, unspoken regrets, and the dreams they left behind. Throughout the story, the boy band appears performing Take That songs, acting as a link between who the women were and who they’ve become. In the end, the musical explores friendship, loss, healing, and the power of music to reconnect us with our younger selves.
