🌍 An inspiring true story is coming to Sutton Coldfield.
CLOC Musical Theatre Company presents the Sutton Coldfield premiere of Come From Away at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall this autumn.
Set in the small Canadian town of Gander in the days following 11 September 2001, this uplifting musical tells the remarkable true story of how local people welcomed 7,000 stranded passengers after 38 planes were diverted.
A moving celebration of kindness, community and unexpected connections — with an award-winning score inspired by Newfoundland folk and Celtic music.
The cast are already hard at work in rehearsal, and this looks set to be a very special production.

They’re getting ready to bare everything at Sutton Arts Theatre… but there’s much more to The Full Monty than that famous final strip!
From 10th–19th September, Simon Beaufoy’s much-loved story takes to the Sutton Arts stage, bringing with it plenty of laughs — but also a story about friendship, pride, family, body confidence and finding your place when life suddenly changes direction.
At the heart of the story are six unemployed Sheffield steelworkers who come up with a rather unconventional plan to make some much-needed cash… they’re going to put on their own strip show — and unlike the professionals, these lads are promising to go THE FULL MONTY! 😳😂
Taking on the principal roles are:
🎭 Oliver Farrelly — Gaz
🎭 Luke Saldana — Dave
🎭 Freddie Smith — Nathan
🎭 Rob Phillips — Gerald
🎭 Ethan Gibson — Lomper

Set against the backdrop of Sheffield and the decline of the steel industry, the story follows a group of ordinary men who are down on their luck and struggling to rediscover their hope, purpose and pride.
Their solution? Put on a show they'll never forget… and bare rather more than they ever expected! 😂
But behind the laughs is a wonderfully human story about friendship, unemployment, fatherhood, confidence and self-worth — themes that make The Full Monty every bit as relevant today.
