What's On In Sutton Coldfield17 hours ago🍳 A New Brunch Favourite in Sutton? 😍
Last week we decided to pop into Sutton Coldfield for a late brunch and, with the new Poms having only just opened, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to give it a try.
And we're very glad we did!
First impressions were excellent. The place looks lovely — stylish, welcoming and really nicely decorated — but what particularly stood out was the staff. Friendly, attentive and, wonderfully, they actually seemed genuinely happy to stop and chat with their customers. That makes such a difference and immediately gives the place a great atmosphere.
Then came the food… and WOW! 😍
I went for the Turkish Eggs, while my wife chose the Avocado, Pea & Mint on Sourdough. Both were beautifully presented, really generous portions and, most importantly, tasted absolutely amazing.
Everything about our first visit impressed us — the surroundings, the service, the atmosphere and especially the food.
It's always great to see a new business opening in Sutton Coldfield, and when your first visit is as good as this one, it's even better.
One final thought… we can't wait to go back! ❤️

Have you tried Poms yet? If you have, let us know what you ordered — because we're already deciding what to try next! 😋

With hot, dry weather continuing and wildfires affecting parts of the UK and Europe, it's a timely reminder that just one spark can start a serious grass fire.
Whether you're visiting Sutton Park, Kingsbury Water Park, Chasewater Country Park, Beacon Park, Sandwell Valley, or any of our wonderful local parks and nature reserves, please help protect them by leaving BBQs at home.
🔥 BBQs can:
❌ Start grass and woodland fires
❌ Put visitors at risk
❌ Damage precious habitats
❌ Harm wildlife
❌ Take emergency services away from other incidents
Even a disposable BBQ or a few hot coals can remain dangerously hot long after you've finished using them.
❤️ Let's all do our bit to protect the places we love so they're here for everyone to enjoy this summer.
Have a great day out, take your picnic, enjoy the sunshine… and leave the BBQ at home.
