There was a fabulous turnout for St Giles annual “Hero Walk” plenty of hero’s and their canine friends and a few villains who seemed to have crept in on the action.
The sun shone and the “Rock Choir” sang some excellent versions of classic rock numbers whiles the Heros Assembled.
Sutton Coldfield Mayor Janet Cairns welcomed everybody to the event and wished them all well at 11.00am when our Heros sped off at a walking pace to complete the 4.5K circuit taking part in four activities along the route.
At about 11.45 the first Heros started to cross the finish line and collect their medals
