Cancer Support 21st Birthday

On April 23rd 2022 The Cancer Support Centre celebrated 21 years of supporting adults affected by cancer in the West Midlands.

The Birthday Celebration were held in the grounds of the Centre in Lindridge Road.  The day  started at 11am with the Mayor Councilor Terry Wood opening the event with Jackie Price the Centre Manager and ran until 4pm. Everyone was welcome to come and see the centre, share a cream tea, visit the stalls and take part in the Raffle and Tombola but more importantly see, and experience in some small way what we are able to share with our clients to help them feel supported. There were short relaxation sessions, opportunity to learn some tips and tools to manage challenging circumstances, and even have some therapy taster sessions 1:1 with our therapists. For the children there was an Easter Trail and goodie bag around the grounds.
