The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney film.
The award-winning Trinity Players are pleased to present the Birmingham Premiere of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. This epic Victor Hugo novel takes to the stage in this production based on the classic Disney Film. Shut away from the outside world for being different, and rendered deaf from the tolling of the bells, Quasimodo looks down from his tower in Notre Dame longing for freedom.
Escaping for a day, his deformities lead to cruel treatment from all but the beautiful gypsy Esmeralda, who captivates Quasimodo and many other suitors.
With Archdeacon Frollo intent on destroying the gypsies, it is up to Quasimodo to save them all. Featuring Academy-Award winning songs and a captivating classic story – get yourself a seat at the Notre Dame Cathedral this summer and see a show that is not to be missed!
