Breaking his parole in the hope of finding a better life, he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert who refuses to believe Valjean can be redeemed.\nDuring the student uprising of 1832 in Paris, Javert must then confront his ideals when Valjean spares his life and saves that of a student, who has captured the heart of Valjean’s adopted daughter.\nFeaturing the stirring and brilliant music and lyrics of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, audiences can expect all the drama of the French revolt alongside such well-loved songs as ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, ‘One Day More’, ‘On My Own’ and much, much, more in this landmark show.\nSCMYT returns fresh from its success with Legally Blonde the Musical at the Town Hall, with Les Misérables School Edition from 20-24 February 2024.
